What is Instruments of Mercy?
Instruments of Mercy Inc. is a non-profit organization that refurbishes medical equipment currently in the hands healthcare providers who participate in medical missions.

Does IOM accept donations, i.e. instruments / money?
NO, IOM does not accept any donations or money. IOM will refurbish instruments currently in the hands of healthcare providers to be used for an upcoming mission trip. Please do not hesitate to contact Toney Peer, Director of Instruments of Mercy, if you are looking for a piece of equipment. IOM will contact local organizations to try and locate the equipment for your medical mission.

Does each healthcare provider have a limit of how much IOM will repair?
YES, the limit is $6,000 per mission trip. First, contact Toney Peer to inform us that you have equipment in need of repair. Secondly, a sponsored sales representative in your area will come by and pick up the equipment. The sales representative will ship the equipment to a lab for repair. Once the item(s) have been refurbished, the sales representative will deliver the equipment back to you.

What equipment does IOM refurbish?
Please refer to the Catalog of Repair Services on the IOM website for a list of instruments IOM will refurbish for your upcoming mission trip.

Who is repairing the equipment?
Instruments of Mercy is honored to be sponsored by Integrated Medical Systems International, Inc. ("IMS") IMS has over 20 years of experience restoring medical equipment in lab facilities across the United States. Gene Robinson, CEO of IMS, established Instruments of Mercy in 2004 to give back by ensuring that the instruments required for your medical mission trip are refurbished and in working condition.
